Privacy
Short, because we collect very little.
What this site collects
Only what our own analytics and the PostHog visit recordings below record. This site is static, self-hosts its fonts, and makes no request to any third party. There are no advertising pixels.
Calls and bookings: when you tap a phone, text, email or booking link on this site, our own analytics stores the IP address of that visit together with the action, so we can see roughly where requests come from. We keep it for 90 days, use it for nothing else, and never sell or share it.
Visit recordings: this site also uses PostHog, a service of PostHog Inc. in the United States, to see how visitors use it. Its script is served from this domain, and what it records is passed on from here to PostHog. It records the pages you view, where you click and how far you scroll, your device and browser type, page-speed measurements, and a replay of the visit in which anything typed into a field is hidden. It sets no cookies; its session data stays in the storage of your open browser tab and is cleared when the tab closes. PostHog receives your IP address, keeps it with this data and uses it to estimate your approximate location. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded. We use it only to improve this site and never sell it; PostHog keeps recordings for 30 days and other usage data for up to one year.
What you give us
When you call, you give us your name, a contact number, an address to reach the appliance, a model number and a description of the fault. We use those to schedule and perform the repair, and to keep a service history for the warranty period.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We share them only with a parts supplier when a specific order requires it, and only the details that order requires.
How long we keep it
Service records are kept for the length of the parts warranty and a reasonable period after, so that a repeat fault can be traced. Ask and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
