One make means the parts on the van, the manuals and the failure patterns are the ones we see every week. We are an independent repair shop.

What happens on the first visit?

The technician runs the full diagnostic sequence on the appliance, shows you what he measured, and writes the estimate before anything is ordered. That is the $80, and it comes off the repair. Calls run Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm and Sat, 9am–4pm. EPA Section 608 certified technicians for sealed-system refrigerant work.

How long is the repair covered?

90 days on labor and 365 days on parts from the invoice date. Genuine OEM parts only. If the fault we repaired comes back inside the term, the return visit is ours and there is no second diagnostic fee. A different fault in the same appliance is a new diagnosis and we tell you that on site.

Foundry Line Appliance has worked Viking equipment in Duval County since 2016. One manufacturer is a deliberate limit. It means the parts we stock, the manuals on the bench and the failure patterns in our heads are the ones we see every week, instead of a thin layer of everything.

What we are not

We are independent. We hold no manufacturer service appointment of any kind, and we do not imply one. If you want the manufacturer's own service network, it publishes a locator and you should use it. What we offer instead is a shorter queue, a flat diagnostic and a written estimate.

We are also not a mechanical contractor, and that line matters more here than it sounds. Foundry Line Appliance is a kitchen appliance shop. We do not repair, install or service heating, air conditioning or the ductwork that serves them, and we do not sell appliances. A kitchen hood is ours — blower, speed control, damper, filters and the duct that carries cooking smoke outside. The system that heats and cools the house is not, at any point, and nobody on this van is equipped to pretend otherwise.

About the name

Viking Range, LLC is a cooking and refrigeration manufacturer, and that is the Viking this site means, every time. There is also a small community called Viking in Indian River County, roughly two hundred miles south of Jacksonville. We do not work there, and a search for heating or air conditioning around that town has landed on the wrong page.
